Helen Simmons

Helen is the Programme Director at CfPD and our key contact with the Chartered Management Institiute to ensure that we meet their high standards in qualification assessment and reward. She is also a key member of our delivery team involved in all of our programmes from design and development through to delivery and assessment. Helen particularly enjoys helping new managers to develop confidence in the management role they perform. She has a wealth of experience in the design and delivery of training and management programmes we deliver predominantly within the health and leisure sectors.

Gail Winwood

Our people expert! Gail delivers training in all aspects of management but has a soft spot for the people management areas! Whether its helping to build high-performing teams or recruiting for that hard-to-fill vacancy, Gail has experienced most people management situations first-hand! Gail also has a wealth of experience in Senior HR roles, strategic management and training and she currently advises a number of organisations in the area of Employment Law and Strategic HR matters (which she remains currently active in), including training and development.

Margaret Burnside

Margaret delivers training across all our programmes, designs and develops learning material and assesses candidates against learning outcomes. Margaret has considerable experience in leading many organisations, corporations and charities over the years to help them achieve their training and development needs. She has designed, delivered and introduced management, leadership training and coaching programmes for over 25 years and is passionate about people who want to learn, develop their skills and...in the process...realise they have the ability to shape and change their own lives - and the organisations they work for! Margaret is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Robert Simmons

Robert is our Financial Director responsible for all aspects of the Company's financial and commercial affairs. He also ensures the Company runs in accordance with company law and he is also the Company Secretary. Robert has held a number of senior management and consultancy positions in both public and private sector organisations and this wealth of experience that he brings to CfPD ensures we have a broad and detailed perspective on the legal and financial aspects of corporate governance.

Steve Burnside

Steve is our Director responsible for all aspects of the company's Sales and Marketing capabilities He is responsible for all of the CfPD strategic sales and marketing functions including communications, market research, social and business networking, brand positioning, event management and all customer facing activities. Steve's background is in marketing and business management and he has managed several large teams in various multi-national organisations and Blue Chip companies.

Deborah Willis

Deborah has many years' Training and Development experience as well as hands-on experience as a manager in a variety of roles. She is an experienced Training & Development specialist with a broad range of skills, including diagnostic consultancy, training design and delivery, facilitation, coaching, change management, problem solving and process improvement. Since 1990 she has specialised in Training & Development and has developed specific training and development expertise in the areas of Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Team Building.
